A Tennessee native, Beverly began her career in tax and public accounting in 1987 with Stephen C. Wilson Co, Inc., of Boone, North Carolina. She is certified to practice before IRS, receiving the Enrolled Agent designation in 1996. She acquired Mr. Wilson’s ongoing practice in November of 1998. She holds an A.A.S. degree in Accounting from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Her focus is individual and business bookkeeping and tax preparation.

Susie began her back-office duties with Rose’s Stores in Boone, North Carolina, where she became Operations Manager. She came to work with Stephen C. Wilson Co., Inc., in 1996, as the fulltime bookkeeper and payroll professional, and after the acquisition, she continued working with Beverly Guy Accounting, adding Individual Income Tax to her other responsibilities. She holds an A.A.S. degree in Accounting from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.

Stephanie McGlamery

Stephanie began a part-time career in the front-office with Stephen C. Wilson Co., Inc., in Boone, North Carolina in the 1990s. Later, she took time off to take care of her girls, but when they were school age, she came back to work part-time with Beverly Guy Accounting during tax season as a business assistant, preparing the preliminary paperwork for businesses’ tax returns, balance sheets and income statements. She has continued to work every tax season since the late 1990s as a business assistant and individual income tax preparer during tax season.

Phyllis Messer

Phyllis is the smiling face you will see when you enter our Boone offices. She began front-office duties with Beverly Guy Accounting in January of 2008, and she has worked every tax season since. She kindly assists taxpayers with signing their tax documents, paying their account fees, directing their phone calls and all other front-office duties. She keeps the staff in line, and she is an integral part of our team.

Overseeing the management and direction of the office staff, Crystal is principal and owner of McDuffie & Associates, LLC, which includes the offices of Stanfield, Thomas & Associates and Beverly Guy Accounting. Crystal grew up in small business and has more than 20 years of accounting experience. She holds a B.B.A. from the accredited Accountancy program at East Tennessee State University. Crystal is certified to practice as an Enrolled Agent before the Internal Revenue Service and is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
